There’s a saying that goes...
“It is better to be born twice and die once,
than be born once and die twice.”
What does that refer to? The Bible talks about being born again, referring to the salvation of our souls by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. We are saved by faith alone and once saved, always saved - the Bible makes this very clear. Thus we escape the second death and punishment in hell for our sins.
Revelation 20:14-15 (KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
What a cause for celebration to escape the second death and to be born into the new life that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice enables us to have.
Therefore take the time to celebrate your child’s spiritual birthday, the day they accepted Christ by faith, with some of the themes and ideas below.
